Despite this our water intake remains similar at the same time that insufficient. It is somewhat expected, and even normal. The increase of the temperatures with a greater probability of spend more time outdoors, even the performance of a more or less strenuous physical activity justifies all these messages.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-1 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-one-full fusion-column-first fusion-column-last\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:10px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\" style=\"background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><h3>It sells more water but we drink less<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/latam.patiadiabetes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/image.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4963\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload alignright wp-image-4963 \" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27381%27%20height%3D%27264%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20381%20264%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27381%27%20height%3D%27264%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/latam.patiadiabetes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/image.png\" alt=\"Ventas agua embotellada\" width=\"381\" height=\"264\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">In spite of reiterate the importance of the hydration, also there is an important and growing commercial interest in that we drink more &#8230; of anything, included the water, especially when it comes bottled. Look at the following chart; we will see the almost exponential increase that the sale of bottled water has suffered in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>We drink a quantity of water quite similar to the years ago, but at the same time we have increased the consumption of an amount of liquids which are not water and also it has important implications that benefit us at all. As highlighted this clairvoyant Study: <em><u><a href=\"http:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1038\/oby.2007.326\/full\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shifts in Patterns and Consumption of Beverages Between 1965 and 2002<\/a><\/u><\/em>, currently and over more than 50 years the income of calories we do from what we drink has increased alarmingly.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-2 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-one-full fusion-column-first fusion-column-last\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:10px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\" style=\"background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><h3>Liquid calories, obesity and diabetes<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/latam.patiadiabetes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/agua.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5144 noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload alignright wp-image-5144 size-medium\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27300%27%20height%3D%27201%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20300%20201%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27300%27%20height%3D%27201%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/latam.patiadiabetes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/agua-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"agua\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" \/><\/a>It has been increased the consumption of calories from certain drinks that, beyond the water (which has not changed) involves the consumption of soft drinks, juices and other sugary or alcoholic beverages with an important impact on our metabolism.<\/p>\n<p>At this point, should highlight the concept of &#8220;empty calories&#8221; in relation to all those foods with a nutritional value of zero or low, but at the same time incorporates energy (or calories) without involving a greater satiety. This type of food of empty calories are usually foods like &#8220;soft drinks&#8221; most of the times as the Department of health of the city of New York emphasized with the campaign \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www1.nyc.gov\/assets\/doh\/downloads\/pdf\/cdp\/healthy-alt-brochure.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Are you pouring on the pounds?<\/em><\/a>\u201d that is worth paying attention to two of its illustrative videos : <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/0mt-i2aypew?list=PL06E5CD687A191987\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this one here<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/62JMfv0tf3Q?list=PL06E5CD687A191987\">here another<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It looks that there is a causal relationship between the consumption of more liquid calories and the high increase of obesity and diabetes in our environment, as show the numbers.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-3 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-one-full fusion-column-first fusion-column-last\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:10px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\" style=\"background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;\"><style type='text\/css'>.reading-box-container-1 .element-bottomshadow:before,.reading-box-container-1 .element-bottomshadow:after{opacity:0.7;}<\/style><div class=\"fusion-reading-box-container reading-box-container-1\" style=\"margin-top:50px;margin-bottom:40px;\"><div class=\"reading-box\" style=\"background-color:#f5f5f5;border-width:1px;border-color:#f5f5f5;border-top-width:3px;border-top-color:var(--primary_color);border-style:solid;\"><div class=\"reading-box-additional\">\n<h2>Quick tips about hydration<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Thirst is the best indicator of your need of drink.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The water is the best, irreplaceable, healthy and economic way of keep you hydrated. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The election by custom of others options instead water has inevitable side and negative effects.
