La obesidad es el principal factor de riesgo a su desarrollo, el creciente aumento de casos de obesidad en la sociedad ha disparado la incidencia de la diabetes tipo 2 en el mundo. \u00bfC\u00f3mo prevenir la diabetes tipo 2?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-1 fusion_builder_column_3_5 3_5 fusion-three-fifth fusion-column-first\" style=\"width:58.4%; margin-right: 4%;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:10px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\" style=\"background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><p>La diabetes tipo 2 es el tipo m\u00e1s com\u00fan de diabetes (alrededor del 90% de personas con diabetes padecen este tipo).\u00a0El cuerpo de una persona con diabetes tipo 2 no produce suficiente insulina o las c\u00e9lulas no hacen uso de la insulina.\u00a0<strong>La mitad de las personas con diabetes ni siquiera lo saben<\/strong>, muchas descubren que la tienen cuando se enfrentan a problemas como la visi\u00f3n borrosa, problemas del coraz\u00f3n o a otra de <a href=\"https:\/\/latam.patiadiabetes.com\/complicaciones-diabetes-tipo-2\/\">sus complicaciones<\/a>. <strong>Pero la diabetes tipo 2 se puede prevenir<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La diabetes tipo 2 es una patolog\u00eda en la que intervienen <a href=\"https:\/\/latam.patiadiabetes.com\/factores-riesgo-diabetes-tipo-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">factores de riesgo<\/a> prevenibles, <\/span><b>relacionados con el estilo de vida de la persona<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, y no prevenibles, como son <\/span><b>la gen\u00e9tica o la edad<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Intervenir en los factores de riesgo prevenibles con un cambio de h\u00e1bitos es fundamental para evitar su desarrollo. Pero hay otras pautas a seguir, que reducen el riesgo a desarrollar la patolog\u00eda:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload  wp-image-8219 alignright\" href=\"https:\/\/latam.patiadiabetes.com\/pautas-actividad-fisica-evitar-sedentarismo-adultos\/\">actividad f\u00edsica moderada<\/a> (como caminar 30 minutos al d\u00eda).<\/li>\n<li>Mantener un peso saludable.<\/li>\n<li>Beber agua (evitar zumos, bebidas azucaradas y alcohol).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/latam.patiadiabetes.com\/medir-azucar-prevenir-diabetes-tipo-2\/\">Medir nuestra glucosa<\/a> en sangre, un control peri\u00f3dico nos ayudar\u00e1 a detectar la prediabetes y aplicar medidas.<\/li>\n<li>Dormir bien (<a href=\"https:\/\/latam.patiadiabetes.com\/pautas-dormir-bien-reducir-riesgo-diabetes-tipo-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">una\u00a0buena\u00a0calidad del sue\u00f1o<\/a>\u00a0reduce\u00a0el riesgo a la diabetes tipo 2).<\/li>\n<li>Evitar el estr\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-4 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-one-full fusion-column-first
