Mirella G. Zulueta Medical Director 

Mirella Zulueta, PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Southern California,  Master in Biotechnology from the University of Navarra and graduated in Medicine from the University of the Basque Country.

She has developed her professional career in the USA and Canada. She has worked as a post-doc at John Hopkins Medical School, directed the APUA business development office at Tutfs Medical Center in Boston, and was responsible for the Personalized Medicine projects in the Technology Transfer Office at Mount Sinai Hospital and Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
Mirella has served as director of the R&D and Biomarker Discovery department of several California biotechnology companies such as AGY Therapeutics and PPD Biomarker Discovery Sciences.
Mirella has received numerous awards including the Heidelberger Predoctoral Award, Women in Cancer Research (WICR) Award, Boehringer Ingelheim Postdoctoral Award for Research in Biomedicine and the W. Barry Wood Jr. Award for Outstanding Research Contributions to the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Igotz Aranbarri Medical HealthPlan coordinator 

Physician specializing in Family and Community Medicine. Graduated from the UPV-EHU and currently at the Arrasate Clinic (Gipuzkoa, Spain). Diabetes is her passion and with the aim of being trained in detail in this pathology, she studied the masters of the University of Barcelona in 2015 and the University Francisco de Vitoria between the years 2017-2019. Igotz is a member of the redGDPS Foundation and participates in continuous training in the field. He has been  medical consultant at Zelaieta Mediku Zentroa (Zornotza), caring for people with diabetes, especially type 2 diabetes mellitus and associated comorbidities, as well as their families and loved ones.
